How many packing categories are dangerous goods divided into according to the degree of danger?

General technical conditions for transport packaging of dangerous goods GB 12463-90:


Packaging classification is divided into three levels according to the strength and protective performance of packaging structure and the risk degree of contents:


Class I packaging: it complies with the relevant provisions in Table 1 ~ Table 4 and is applicable to the goods with great risk inside.


Class II packaging: in accordance with the relevant provisions of Table 1 ~ Table 4, it is applicable to the goods with medium risk inside.


Class III packaging: in accordance with the relevant provisions of Table 1 ~ Table 4, it is applicable to the goods with low risk inside.


Classification principle of transport packaging of dangerous goods GB / T 15098-94:


Dangerous goods are divided into three packaging categories according to their degree of danger:


Class I packaging: the goods are dangerous and the packaging strength is required to be high.


Class II packaging: the goods have medium risk and high packaging strength requirements.


Class III packaging: the goods have low risk and the packaging strength requirements are general.


For the detailed classification of dangerous goods, please refer to IATA Dangerous Goods rules. The name of dangerous goods shall be subject to the provisions on the administration of dangerous goods transportation in civil aviation of China, and refer to the current effective IATA Dangerous Goods rules.


Article 112 of the supplementary provisions of Chapter VII of the work safety law stipulates that dangerous goods refer to inflammable and explosive goods, dangerous chemicals, radioactive goods and other goods that can endanger personal safety and property safety.


Dangerous goods, that is, goods that are prone to fire, explosion or poisoning during production, storage, loading, unloading and transportation due to their chemical, physical or toxic characteristics, which may cause personal casualties and property damage. Obviously, this is defined from the nature of the goods. Generally speaking, dangerous goods mainly include: dangerous chemicals and radioactive goods.
